What it is we do.

Zimkute & Walwark
We are making adornments by hand. As we do this, our goal is to have parts free and moving- kinetics. At the same time, we aim to make the wearer feel as though the jewelry is not something fanciful but yet catches the eyes of society through a worn and torn look. It's too often you see a precious jewel now, rather than a bolt. We hope to help spread the plethora of steampunk ideas through our jewelry- as well as being a part in the revolution of a different style in which anyone can feel interest. Techniques involve us to manually bend metals (copper, aluminum and possibly brass later on), we mold forms with hammers, punch out shapes with a hand punch (mainly used to create rivets), file the metal for comfort, incorporate leather, add an assortment of screws and bolts. Soldering is definatley a technique we use to attach decor and embellishments to the jewelry.
